Parent Meeting: This meeting will be held in early November . It is for new and returning parents. Find out what is new for 2009, meet the coaches, and get answers to your questions. Club registration information will also be available.
Evaluations/Try-outs: All players must register online with USAV and AAU before attending an Evaluation/Try-out.
Practices are held 2 nights a week. The specific nights depend on gym and/or coaches availability. The gym sites we currently use are Lake Worth Christian, Summit Christian, Palm Beach CC – central campus, Forest Hill HS, Crestwood MS, and St. Mark’s. We are working on more sites. Practice schedules are posted monthly on our web site.
Tournaments are held on weekends. Some tournaments are 1 day – Sat. or Sun. and others are 2 day – Sat. & Sun. Tentative 2008 Tournament Schedules are now posted on the tournament schedule page.
Program types: Palm Beach Juniors offers 3 different types of programs.
- Developmental - for ages 10-14. This type of program is geared for the beginning player. They play from January to Mid April and do not attend the Regional Tournament in Orlando.
- Standard - for ages 13-18. This type of program plays from January to Mid May and attends the Regional Tournament in Orlando.
- Elite - for ages 13-18. This type of program is subject to a try-out. They are the top players in their age group and play a different tournament schedule with more traveling.
